Since its creation, the National Council of Justice has assumed a dimension of relevance. With correctional competence throughout the country, it is not uncommon for the CNJ to promote investigations and trial of magistrates whether as a primary authority, or even in as a secondary one. In addition, its normative acts have the capacity to generate effects in numerous activities, affecting magistrates, notaries and public servants.

• Participation in procedures for establishment of administrative normative acts;
• Defense and/or confrontation of administrative acts;
• Defense of the interests of categories in collective proceedings;
• Analysis and defense of individual and collective interests in public examinations for notaries and magistrates.
